Besecker's is local to me, and I find myself going there several times a week when I can. Most of the time I'm in the mood for breakfast, which they serve all day long, and I usually get a ham and cheese omelette, with their home fries, which are always the same, very consistent, and taste great. I add salt and pepper to taste, I haven't gotten it with onions yet, but after reading one of the reviews, I'm going to try it. The waitresses are very friendly, and are starting to know me by name, which is nice. They do offer a reward card type thing and it's tied to your credit card or your cell phone number so after about $100 or so you get a five dollar credit which is just nice. The coffee is wonderful, but since I'm a diabetic and I like sugar, I keep it to just 2 cups otherwise well, I could overdose on the coffee! They do have specials for lunch, and I'll pick one occasionally and they usually very very good. I don't have any complaints, it's clean, friendly, nice people, they'll sit me in a booth where possible, but I'll make myself accommodating and sit at the counter if they're very crowded. All in all, I highly recommend them. Oh, and they also have free Wi-Fi.

Well well well. Been coming to Beseckers for a long time and every time I step in here the atmosphere is what you expect when you here the word diner. Service has always been super friendly. To be honest, I only ever get the corn beef hash and eggs which they ran out of! Couldn't believe it haha. This stuffed French Toast was - not my first or second choice but we'll give the extra star for Nostalgia. :-) I'll be back again and again.

My first time here and looking forward to coming back. I ordered a chocolate milk, big meat omelete with swiss cheese, side of home fries and a side of scrapple. Everything was cooked perfect, delicious, filled me up, fair prices and the service was great too!

Stopped in to Beseckers today to continue my tour of "the best omelet in the Poconos". This was bittersweet for me right out of the gate because I used to come here often with my father before he passed away. I haven't been here in over 15 years...it was my first time in without him. My server was very friendly and good at her job. The place honestly looked exactly as I remember it looking a decade and a half ago. I ordered a western omelet with cheese, home fries, and rye toast. Trying to keep my order nearly the same everywhere I go so I can rate accurately. There were onions available for the home fries so I opted in for those. I love me some onions. The Omelet was cooked well, probably the best I've had so far as far as the cook on the eggs goes. Very light spots of brown here and there but pretty much spot on. The ham dice was a bit larger than ideal so some bites were a bit tough, like large pieces of ham can be. Otherwise this was excellent. The home fries were cooked well and the onion flavor was awesome. The toast was toast. The coffee was good, not great. This cost a little more than other spots but home fries were an add on, and the onion was also an add on. Typically these spots have home fries come automatically with the omelet so I was surprised by that, but perhaps because the clientele is primarily senior citizens I guess maybe they don't eat as much and it made more sense this way. If that was the case though, the omelet could have been another couple dollars less. All in all it was a solid breakfast and I'm happy I came. Besecker's diner in Stroudsburg, PA - Didn't Suck!

An old style diner in the Poconos where the locals flock to. If this is your cup of tea, you'll love it here. Have only been there for breakfast but got less than $10 you can get 2 eggs with home fries, bacon and sausage and either toast or pancakes. And they don't scrimp on the size and it tastes great.
